Emergency First Response is an internationally recognised First Aid qualification witch covers a range of skills and can specialise in certain areas of first aid from Care for Children to AED use.
The EFR course meets the CPR and First Aid requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver Course and all professional level ratings.
- Primary Care (CPR) - Practice eight skills for aiding non-breathing patients, whom have no heartbeat, could have a possible spinal injury or are suffering from shock or serious bleeding. Learn how to perform CPR and monitor patient health whilst waiting for medical services to arrive.
- Secondary Care (First Aid) - Learn how to provide First Aid, reduce risk of further harm and ease pain for situations where medical services can be delayed or unavailable. These are great skills to learn that can be applied to everyday life.
- Care for Children - Learn, practice and apply emergency care skills specific to helping infants and children in medical emergencies. This course if often integrated into the Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) courses.
- CPR & AED - This course focuses on CPR training and teaching participants how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator). When workplace or governmental requirements specify this training, the CPR & AED course meets the need. This course is often integrated into First Aid at Work programs.
- First Aid at Work – In some areas, such as Great Britain, Australia and Canada, governmental regulations call for enhanced CPR and first aid training for the workplace. First Aid at Work programs designed for these areas include additional topics and skills to meet requirements while following the easy to learn EFR approach to training.
- EFR Refresher – It’s a good idea to refresh your CPR and first aid skills every 24 months, so focus on key skills, stay up-to-date and ready to lend aid when needed with the EFR Refresher course.
