As a subset of the PADI Advanced Open Water Course on completion you will only need to complete two more dives to gain the Advanced Open Water Diver certification and each dive may credit towards the first dive of the corresponding PADI Speciality Course.
This course allows you to gain a certification in one day as well as building confidence, practicing key skills and trying different types of dives dives that can open new horizons.

To take part in this course you need to be a (Junior) PADI Open Water Diver with a minimum age of 10 years old. Young divers may only be allowed to participate in certain Adventure Dives so pop in to our shop or contact our friendly team today to find out what we can offer!
You can choose what you’re most interested in learning. Need to work on your buoyancy skills? Try the Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive. Want to know what you’re looking at down there? Try the AWARE – Fish Identification or Underwater Naturalist Adventure Dives. You’ll plan your path with one of Pissouri Bay Divers experienced instructors, go over what you need to know and dive in quickly.
Beyond using basic scuba equipment, you’ll learn to use specialised gear depending on the Adventure Dives you choose. For example you will need a dry suit for the Dry Suit Adventure Dive or recovery equipment for the Search and Recovery adventure dive. Your Pissouri Bay Divers Instructor will explain the equipment that you need and may suggest additional gear, such as a dive light for night diving or a lift bag for search and recovery diving.
